Techno-Economic Feasibility Analysis of Grid-Connected Microgrid Design by Using a Modified Multi-Strategy Fusion Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm

The present work investigates the techno-economic solution that can address problem of rural electrification. To maintain a continuous power supply to this village area, grid-connected microgrid system was designed consists solar photovoltaic (SPV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS). recently introduced multi-strategy fusion artificial bee colony (MFABC) algorithm hybridized with simulated annealing approach is referred as MFABC+ algorithm. This employed determine optimal sizing different components comprising integrated well maximize objectives. For validation, simulation results obtained by are compared using HOMER software, particle swarm optimization algorithms original MFABC It revealed has better convergence rate potential ability provide compromising in comparison these existing tools. also discovered through comprehensive evaluation proposed capability meet electricity demand for 24 × 7 at lowest levelized cost electricity.
